The pleasure of music and the bond with the region were the reasons for the foundation of the “Philharmonic Sounds” in the Steirische Thermenland: By now the association of kultur-land-leben celebrates its 3rd anniversary. Its aim is to host an annual chamber music festival with musicians from the best European orchestras - in 2011 from the
- Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra,
- Hungarian National Philharmonics,
- Berlin Philharmonics,
- Latvian National Symphonic Orchestra,
- Radio-Symphonic Orchestra of Vienna and the
- Viennese Orchestra of the National Opera.
The program literally offers incredible auditory pleasure. In line with the Philharmonic Sounds 2010 7 events were hosted at 7 remarkable locations. The concerts were moderated by Barbara Rett, Otto Brusatti and Peter H. Neugebauer.
