Old fashioned harmony
Our landscape is not only naturally breath-taking, but our historic buildings have remarkable stories as well.
WELL-GROOMED AND BEAUTIFUL
At the core fo Bad Gleichenberg is a 20-hectare spa garden which was designed by Countess Emma von Wickenburg back in 1837. It boasts exotic trees and bushes, such as the American catalpa and the dawn redwood tree from China that adorn the paths.
The surrounding buildings and sculptures are from the Biedermeier period (ca 1815 - 1848). They are delicate but simple in their architecture, and enschanting to the eyes.
