How to get a treatment
There are four options to access a treatment at the health resort:
- Self-financing of the treatment and stay at the resort, free choice of dates and the accommodation
- Partial pay from your health insurance or retirement pension insurance
- Approval for a three week inpatient healing treatment in the health resort Bad Gleichenberg from the health insurance. You will stay at one of the houses that have contracts with your health insurances. The duration of stay for neurodermatitis or psoriasis patients is four weeks. Contracts exist with the main health insurance providers.
- Approval of an ambulantory healing treatment in the health resort Bad Gleichenberg from your health insurance.
HEALING TAKES TIME
For long term result of the treatment a stay of at least three weeks is mandatory. Ambulantory healing treatment patients receive a prescription from their general practitioner for 3 different treatments on 7 different treatment days. Further treatments have to obtain approval from the chief physician. To provide adequate conditions for every patient the health resort cooperates closely with the health insurance providers.
